America is blessed with millions of individuals of goodwill and good words who play significant roles in making positive changes in the lives of others. Many of society's greatest problems can only be solved on a personal level, between those who care and those in need. This provides an opportunity to thank those who give so much throughout the year to help those less fortunate. It should also serve as a challenge to each of us to devote more energy to seeking a common good.

Odell Barry is a 40 year Northglenn - Thornton Rotary Club charter member, Past-President, former Denver Bronco running back, Denver Bronco Alumni President, Former City of Northglenn mayor,metro Denver real estate development businessman, founder of many local youth sports initiatives.

On April 4, 2008, the Northglenn - Thornton Rotary Club & the Denver Metro North Rotary Club are hosting the Roast of Odell Barry. This charitable benefit will support the Butterfly Pavillion and The Rotary Foundation and local Club activities.

Odell for the last 13 years, has been a mentor of mine, and as an example of the 4 Way Test of the things we think, say, or do.

1. Is it the Truth?
2. Is it fair to all concerned
3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

I have been asked to offer participation in our event to Toast one of Denver's "true characters." Your business or personal recognition will be displayed for sponsorship, or donated silent auction items.
