Webster Lake Relay for Life Kick-Off

Combining the coins from just two jars of "Coins for a Cure" allowed team captain, Patty Carr, to sign up her team, Carr's Stars, for the Webster Lake Relay for Life. Pennies and small change thrown into the jars quickly added up to the $50 team registration fee.

Are you interested in being part of the Webster Lake Relay for Life? It's time to talk to friends and family and get your team together. Kick-off for teams and sponsors for the Relay is April 14, 2008 at 7 p.m. at the Radison Greystone Castle at 120th and I-25.

Relay for Life teams of 10-12 members raise funds to fight cancer. They gather on September 6-7 at Webster Lake in Northglenn with other teams and walk around the lake in support of cancer victims and additional research for a cure for cancer. Last year the event raised $100,000 to give to the American Cancer Society.
