With only a few days until the 14 th Annual West Metro Fire Rescue Family Fire Muster, it's time to make sure you, your family and your friends are ready to go! In order to help you prepare for this year's West Metro Family Fire Muster, here is a checklist to help ensure your family's adventure is the best it can be.
The Muster Check List:
-Calendars marked for June 14, 9:30 a.m. - 2 p.m.
-Directions to the Family Fire Muster at 13300 W. 6 th Ave. Lakewood, CO 80228
-Early to bed on Friday night, so everyone will be awake and ready to go Saturday morning
-Your excitement
-Sunscreen
-Comfortable walking shoes
-Hats
-Strollers / Wagons
-Money -Drinks, Pizza Slices, Uncrustables, and Ice Cream will be available for $1 each. West Metro Kids shirts will be available for $10 each (cash or check)
-No Pets! They are not allowed.
This year, West Metro is providing a FREE shuttle from the upper three parking lots at Red Rocks Community College. Shuttles run every 15 minutes.
And, West Metro is auditioning children to serve as a media spokesperson at the 2009 15 th Anniversary of the Family Fire Muster. Visit the "Be a Star" event and audition to be a spokesperson. West Metro is looking for energetic and outgoing kids who can tell Colorado why they like the Family Fire Muster, their favorite activities, and what they've learned about practicing safety at the Family Fire Muster. Start thinking about your favorite Family Fire Muster event and how it helped your family stay safe.
