Local art unveiled Wednesday, June 25
Contributed by: Kelley Baily on 6/24/2008

The Northglenn Arts and Humanities Foundation (NAHF) will unveil six new sculptures on-loan at the award-winning E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park on June 25 at 6:00 p.m. Artists will be on hand to answer questions about their pieces during a walking tour. The park is located ½ mile south of 120th on Community Center Drive (Grant St.) in Northglenn. The sculptures will remain in the park through May, 2008.
"Soul School" will perform a free concert in the park immediately following the unveiling at 6:30 p.m.

The new sculptures are part of Northglenn's eighth annual Art on Parade program, an on-loan outdoor sculpture exhibit funded by NAHF and Adams County SCFD. Artists "loan" their pieces for one year. The sculptures are available for sale to the public, and each fall, Northglenn residents vote for their favorite. Dubbed "The People's Choice," one sculpture is purchased for permanent placement in the City of Northglenn.
