Lott, Bernice M. K. (Sept. 12, 1919 - Sept. 20, 2007)

Bernice Mildred K. Lott, 88, beloved wife and mother, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 20, 2007.

Bernice is survived by her husband Lee Roy of Northglenn, son Larry ( Karen) of Houston, TX and their children, Jennifer ( Chauncey) Graetzel and Katherine; son David of Northglenn; daughter Lorna Tamsett of Centennial and her children Janessa (Eric) Marsh,Jeremy (Angela), and Jessica (David) Basile; daughter Linda ( John) Lindgren and their daughter Lisa ( Preston); and great-grandchildren Makayla, Tyler, Olivia, and Jakob.

Bernice was raised on a farm in Larned, Kansas where she learned the value of work at an early age. She lovingly raised 4 children in Texas and New York before her family moved to Denver where she lovingly helped with the raising of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her strong work ethic and faith in Jesus described her as she served in her church as a deaconess and in her community. She helped with Meals on Wheels for years, did senior care at Alpine Manor and other senior ministries. Gardening was a joy for her wherever she lived and she shared the fruits of her canning and jellying. She gave generously of her time, worked tirelessly to help others and will be missed by everyone who was blessed to know her.

A celebration of her life will be held at a 1pm service and 2pm reception on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Crossroads Church, 10451 Huron in Northglenn with Pastor Kim Skattum officiating. Internment at Highland Cemetery follows the reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Denver Rescue Mission, P.O. Box 5206, Denver, CO 80217.
