On November 14, 2006, North Metro Fire Rescue conducted the official oath of office ceremony, formalizing the promotions of two, outstanding employees. Fire fighter Jason Crownover now fills the rank of Engineer and Lieutenant Ross Riley assumes the rank of Captain.

Eng. Jason Crownover was hired by North Metro Fire Rescue in 2000. Since the start of his employment six years ago, Jason has worked as a firefighter and a paramedic. Jason has also volunteered his time at 9 Health Fair events, car seat safety checkpoints, and other community outreach activities in addition to using his construction talents for the remodeling of training room facilities for the Fire District.

Capt. Ross Riley began his 13-year career with the Fire District in January 1993. Working his way through the ranks and roles of Firefighter, Paramedic, Lieutenant and now Captain, Ross has experienced and excelled in each area of the fire service. With the promotion to Captain, Ross has been assigned to serve in his first full-time administrative role as the Emergency Medical Services Coordinator. This position ensures consistency and quality control of our emergency medical service arm of first response to the community. Ross will interface regularly with on-line medical personnel and help coordinate a comprehensive medical training program for employees of the District.

In addition to his regular field responsibilities and serving as a member of the Technical Rescue Team, Ross has also taken on a multitude of special assignments over the course of his career. Most recently Ross was overseeing EMS supplies, the emergency operations plan and the continuity of government planning for the Fire District.

North Metro Fire Rescue is proud to promote two dedicated members that have demonstrated their excellence in service and growth for the benefit of District citizens.

North Metro Fire Rescue is dedicated to your quality care.
