Army Sgt. Alton C. Lewis has been named the 35th Air Defense Artillery Brigade Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter.

Selection was based on the individual's exemplary duty performance, job knowledge, leadership qualities, significant self-improvement, specific achievements, notable accomplishments, and community service and support.

The sergeant is a missile launcher section chief assigned to the 43rd Battalion, Suwon Air Base, South Korea.
He is the son of Alton C. Lewis Jr. of Live Oak, Fla., and Jennifer Coatsworth of Dogleg Lane, Broomfield.

Lewis is a 2002 graduate of Northglenn High School, Denver, Colo.
