To My Lovely Daughter,
Over the years I have watched you grow from a very determined child into a young woman with a purpose. You've weathered the death of a favored uncle
Rick
, a grandfather Eugene and the tradegy of losing your brother,
Andrew
, in the War on Terror, (Iraq) all within a year and since entering High School in 2004. You stood strong and made decisions that most adults wouldn't have been able to make, you let God lead you. After your brothers death, you promptly left the unhealthy influences of the public school system and enrolled in a private christian school. You excelled in your grades, friendships and decisions about your future. You were able to finish your junior and senior classes in one year and because of this accomplishment you will now graduate a year early.
Oh my beautiful daughter, how proud I am of you.
Your loving heart, your ability to help someone less fortunate than you, your strength, honesty and most importantly your relationship with the Lord will take you farther than anything you can imagine. I have enjoyed my years with you, and with a mothers heart I hold you close and wish you were small for just a moment more, but with a joy filled heart I will watch as you enter this new phase of your life. Cayla, my prayer for you is that you seek God in all decisions, let it be His will and not yours that carries you through each day, love, laugh and be joyful; and know that I will love you always.
Love Mom
