Virgil Hall, along with City of Northglenn employees MaryAnn, left, and Nicole, right, tend to a flowerbed on May 28 at Danahy Park in Northglenn as part of the Northglenn Flowerbed Partners program.

In the program, volunteers adopt one of 23 flowerbeds throughout the city and agree to care for them over the summer.

Hall and the Gillespie family, all from Northglenn, have pledged to keep the flowers at Danahy Park looking their best.

The city has similar programs for city parks and trails. For more information, contact Jenni Murphy at 303-450-8904.
