He's not my boyfriend, he's not in the FBI
A 46-year-old Northglenn woman called police at around 9:30 a.m. Jan. 3 to report that a man she had been dating said he was an FBI agent, according to police reports. The man, while allegedly intoxicated, showed FBI identification to a man who had supposedly stolen a cellphone that night while at a bar. Reports indicate the man told the alleged thief that he was a federal agent and it was a felony to steal a cellphone. The man's neighbors told the police that they'd known him for the past 25 years. When the police asked what kind of work the male was in, the neighbors said, "I don't know if I can tell you," and indicated they had been asked to keep quiet. Police contacted the man at a home improvement store in Northglenn and he said he used to pose as an FBI agent to gain the interest of women but hadn't done it for a while. The male subject filled out a voluntary witness statement. The case has been forwarded to the sheriff's office and the FBI.
Parking lot is not a restroom
Police responded to the 10000 block of Melody Drive to see a 23-year-old male allegedly urinating in a parking lot at 1: 53 p.m. Feb. 11, reports said. According to reports, the suspect apologized and the officer told him that a parking lot is not a restroom. The officer took the man's I.D. and patted him down for weapons. Reports said the suspect allegedly stated he had drug paraphernalia in his pocket and the police officer took a pipe and empty bag of marijuana. The police officer also found the suspect had a warrant out for his arrest for failure to appear in court in Thornton. The suspect was arrested for urinating in public, possession of drug paraphernalia and was transported to Thornton for his warrant.
Boy lets police into house of drugs
Police responded to an alarm going off at 1:10 p.m. on Feb. 24 at a house on the 400 block of West 114th Ave. A 6-year old boy allegedly answered the door and said he tried to let his dog outside and the alarm went off and he didn't know how to turn it off. The boy also allegedly told the officers his parents were not home because they were gone delivering newspapers. While checking the residence, officers smelled marijuana in the house, reports said. In the master bedroom, officers found tin foil with cocaine on it, cocaine on a DVD case, a credit card and rolled-up dollar bill with cocaine residue on it in the bathroom, reports said. At this time the father came home from delivering newspapers. Police informed the man they had found illegal drugs in his house and the man showed them where he kept more, reports said. According to reports, the police were shown 20 grams of marijuana, 2 grams of cocaine and several smoking devices used for both. The 6-year-old boy was brought to the police department until his aunt could pick him up and the man was issued a summons for investigation of criminally negligent child abuse and possession of cocaine and paraphernalia.
Man lets it hang out in front of strangers
Police responded to a call of indecent exposure at 9:50 p.m. April1 at an apartment complex on the 10000 block of Pecos Street. Police talked to two females from two different apartments who said they saw a man standing outside of their windows, according to reports. One woman said she saw the man allegedly with his pants down exposing his genitals to her. The other woman said she just saw him standing there. The man is described as white, 6-feet-tall with a thin build. He was last seen wearing dark-colored pants and a gray or cream-colored long sleeved shirt. This case has been ruled as inactive due to lack of leads.
