BB GUN TARGET PRACTICE UNWELCOME
At about 11:14 a.m. April 19, an officer was dispatched to a house on the 11600 block of Gilpin Street in reference to shots being fired from a bb gun in the backyard. The homeowner told the officer he had heard several popping sounds coming from his backyard, and then saw two teen boys walking in the field behind his house, carrying a bb gun. The man approached the boys and asked what they were doing, and took the gun from them. The boys tried to run, and the man grabbed one of the boys by the two T-shirts the boy was wearing. The boy was able to slip out of both T-shirts and continue running. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate the boys.
BLOWING SMOKE AT OFFICER = BAD IDEA
An officer was collecting a witness statement from a patron who witnessed an alleged unlawful sexual conduct incident at the Golden Cue at 11964 Washington St. at about 1:30 a.m. April 17, when a man smoking a cigarette outside the bar approached the officer and asked to speak with him about the witness who was filling out the statement. The man said he felt the witness was intoxicated and was making an untrue statement. The man continued to interfere with the investigation and blew cigarette smoke in the officer's face. The man was arrested for interfering with police.

Some people in our community don't have the respect that they should have for our police officers. I'm happy that this officer stood his ground and didn't let this horses behind get away with being a jerk! Our Northglenn Police Officers care about us here in Northglenn. It's not just a job to them! We really do matter. THANK YOU NORTHGLENN POLICE, FOR TAKING SUCH GOOD CARE OF US AND OUR COMMUNITY!
