MAN ARRESTED AFTER DISTURBANCE
Northglenn police were sent to the 10000 block of Huron Street at 3:41 a.m. May 7. The officer spoke to a 29-year-old woman who said she was asleep when her 32-year-old husband came home drunk. The husband woke his wife up and the couple began arguing about his drinking. The man hit the woman in the face, giving her a fat lip and causing blood to spill onto her shirt. The officer spoke to the man, who was wearing only boxer shorts, who said his wife had scratched him all over. The officer determined the man was lying about the scratches and was wanted on an outstanding warrant. The man was arrested and swore at and insulted the officers during the booking process.
TRUCK REPORTED STOLEN
A 36-year-old woman reported a vehicle stolen to Northglenn Police on May 6 at 9 p.m.The woman, who lives on the 5000 block of East 122 Place, told the officer her truck was stolen by her fiancee's son, who had a key. The truck was entered into the stolen vehicle database.
MAN SWEARS AT OFFICER
An officer was investigating a suspicious vehicle on the 1000 block of West 104th Avenue at 11:16 p.m. May 8, when a 19-year-old man walked by and yelled "(Expletive) the police." The officer told the man to approach him and searched him for weapons, but did not find anything. The officer asked the man if he had been drinking and the man said "not much." The man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and consumption of alcohol by a minor.
VEHICLE BROKEN INTO
An officer was sent to the 300 block of East 105th Avenue at 9 p.m. May 7 on a report of items stolen from a vehicle. A 31-year-old woman told the officer that someone had broken into her car the previous evening, slashed the two front seats and stole two televisions that were mounted in the vehicle. The woman valued the loss at $1,000. Police had no suspects at the time of the report.
