Police blotter: Couple gets into fight

SUV BROKEN INTO
A Northglenn Police officer was sent to the 11000 block of Washington Street at midnight June 3 on a report of a criminal trespass to a vehicle. The officer spoke to the SUV's 18-year-old owner who told the officer he parked his SUV at 6 p.m. and when he came out later he noticed the rear window had been broken out and a subwoofer and amplifier had been stolen from the back. The owner valued the equipment at $400. Police had no suspects at the time of the report.

COUPLE GETS IN FIGHT
A Northglenn Police officer was sent to the 3400 block of East 108th Avenue at 4:15 p.m. June 6 on a report of a domestic dispute. The officer spoke to a 25-year-old man who said his 19-year-old girlfriend had come over and they had gotten into a fight. The man said his girlfriend hit him. Other officers spoke to the girlfriend who said her boyfriend had pushed her into a wall. Officers could find no marks or injuries on either party and the case has been declared inactive due to a lack of evidence.

HOUSE BROKEN INTO
A Northglenn Police officer was sent to the 900 block of Leroy Drive at 3:22 p.m. June 4 on a report of a burglary. The officer spoke to the homeowner who said someone had broken in by kicking in the back door. The man said the suspect(s) put one of his dogs in his wife's bedroom and stole cash and knives from his dresser, jewelry and two dart sets. A neighbor told the officer he had seen a man with a clipboard walking around the previous day asking people to take a survey about burglaries in the neighborhood. Police were able to lift several fingerprints from the door. The theft is valued at $2,700 The case remained under investigation at the time of the report.

MAN ARRESTED AFTER FIGHT
Northglenn Police responded to the 11000 block of Community Center Drive at 10:15 a.m. June 5 on a report of domestic violence. The officers spoke to a man who said he and his girlfriend had gotten into a fight over their dog urinating on the carpet. During the fight, the boyfriend knocked over a table, broke a computer printer and forcefully dragged his girlfriend outside the residence after she had barricaded herself inside. Police arrested the man on suspicion of domestic violence.
