PAWN SHOP ROBBED
Northglenn police responded to a robbery in progress on the 600 block of Garland Drive at 12:05 a.m. June 10. Officers were told two juvenile males were running in the ally behind an EZ Pawn store. Officers set up a perimeter and deployed a K9 unit, but could not find the suspects. Police recovered DNA and physical evidence from inside the store.
MAN ARRESTED ON WARRANT
A Northglenn police officer responded to the 11000 block of Melody Drive at 12:40 a.m. June 10 on a report of several people jumping off a roof of a clubhouse into a pool. When the officer arrive he saw two men jump off the roof and into the pool. There were also two women and another man in the pool area. The officer spoke to the group who said they gained access to the pool by jumping over the fence. The officer had the group climb back over the fence. One 19-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding warrant and the rest were issued summons for trespassing.
CAR BROKEN INTO
A Northglenn police officer was sent to the 12000 block of Claude Court at 6 a.m. June 10 on a report of an attempted motor vehicle theft. The officer spoke to an 18-year-old girl who said she parked her car at 9 p.m. the previous night and when she went to the car the next morning she noticed the steering column had been damaged and the driver's side window had been pulled away from its frame. Police had no suspects at the time of the report.
XBOX STOLEN
A Northglenn police officer was sent to the 3000 block of East 112th Avenue at 5:15 p.m. June 10 on a report of theft. The officer spoke to a 23-year-old man who said a friend had been living with him for a few weeks and stole an Xbox 360, some boots, a backpack and a bag from him. The man said he did not know the location of his friend and did not want to get him in trouble.
