Trick or treating is one of the great adventures of Halloween for kids and adds to many childhood memories. In addition to all the fun and excitement Halloween offers, it's important for children to be safe.
In Northglenn, we have the perfect Halloween alternative that is safe yet fun for all children to enjoy! You are invited to attend Safe Street Halloween, held at Northglenn High School, 601 W. 100th Place, on Saturday, Oct. 24, from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. This perfect hair-raising event, presented by the Northglenn Police Department and Northglenn High School, offers trick-or-treating, fun games, cookie decorating, ghostly storytelling, and much more. It's fun for the whole family to enjoy, and best of all, it's FREE!
Northglenn High School students are drawing up their ideas as they plan to turn several high school classrooms into a variety of grueling haunted houses. Goblins and monsters will be lurking throughout the haunted tour and you are invited to scream along the way. Come join us, as there will be plenty of games and activities for the children to enjoy in addition to outdoor entertainment and yummy treats. This FREE event is open to children of all ages and offers a variety of games and plenty of excitement!
Last year thousands of children enjoyed the night of chilling surprises. Don't be left out of the fun and horror! Dig out the children's favorite Halloween costume and plan to attend Safe Street Halloween at Northglenn High School.
Again this year, we are inviting community groups and local businesses to participate so we can offer the children even more treats and surprises to make this top-notch event a real thriller. If you are interested in donating pre-packaged candy for the ghosts and goblins, contact Officer Meagan Farmer at 303-450-8851 or
