May board election set for North Metro Fire
Contributed by: North Metro Fire Rescue on 3/21/2008

On May 6, 2008 Fire District residents can cast their vote for representation on three open seats for the board. Although North Metro protects and responds to two municipalities, all District Directors serve at-large and the terms last for four years. "While it can be difficult to get people to vote in board elections," says Public Information Officer Wendy Forbes, "we hope that the citizens get involved in the political process this year, especially since the Fire District continues to address safety and quality of life issues that impact every resident and property owner."

April 7, 2008 is the last day to register to vote (if you are not already registered) for our May Board of Directors election. You can register to vote at your County Clerk's Office.

  • The Adams County Clerk and Recorders Office is located at 450 South 4th Avenue in Brighton.
  • The Boulder County Clerk and Recorders Office is located at 1750 33rd Street in Boulder.
  • The Broomfield County Clerk and Recorders Office is located at One DesCombes Drive in Broomfield.
  • The Jefferson County Clerk and Recorders Office is located at 100 Jefferson County Parkway in Golden.
  • The Weld County Clerk and Recorders office is located at 1402 N. 17th Avenue in Greeley.

Citizens in our community have a vital role in the mission of North Metro Fire Rescue. All Board Meetings are open to the public-typically these meeting are held the first and third Tuesday of each month at North Metro Fire District Headquarters located at 10550 Huron Street, Northglenn.

North Metro Fire Rescue is dedicated to your quality care.
