Give Voice to Northglenners

I want to give voice to the people of Northglenn who aren't being heard. We need a clear, shared vision for the future to bring about positive change. I have followed local issues, been involved in the community and made many attempts to support and provide valuable input to the current mayor and council.

I prefer being proactive, versus reactive to the issues, which is imperative to the success of any organization. I believe that it is important to get feedback from all stakeholder in this process; to listen to citizens; to balance private and public interests. On a side note, I believe that it is important to have leadership who might actually be around in 30 years to live with the consequences of decisions made today. As a member of the Planning Commission, I have fought for SMART GROWTH and responsible development and prudent land use. I know that the city has to balance allowing the highest and best land use, with the need to keep our neighborhoods safe and clean.

I stand before you today in a City I have grown to love. It is where I learned my faith and where I was taught to give back. The opportunity to grow and learn within Northglenn have given me tools to be a successful businessman and community leader. I provide positive leadership and UNITE people in this community to work together toward opportunities.

These are qualities we've come to embrace when times get tough. Together we will get through these trying times. We will continue to make Northglenn the city we all love and call home.

A man interrupted Buddha’s preachings with a flood of abuse. Buddha waited until he had finished and then asked him, “If a man offered a gift to another but the gift was declined, to whom would the gift belong?” To the one who offered it,” said the man. “Then,” said Buddha, I decline to accept your abuse and request that you keep it to yourself.”
