(This is what happened to my Boston Terrier a couple of weeks before Halloween. Idecided to let her tell it in her own words)

i was playing out in the yard with my paco and i saw that cold gray see-thru door that the two legged doggies walk through. it was open a little bit so i smelled it to see why. paco told me not to go near it but my mommi says I'm a precious princess and can do what i want to so i smelled it again. then i tried to squeeze past. i was so surprised when i got through it. there was so much to see! i looked around and started to walk around. paco told me to come back but he's not a precious princess like me so i don't listen to him sometimes.

i had on my favorite pink tshirt with all of the pretty color hearts on it and my collar was pink too and says princess on it. i was so excited to see new grass and other doggies. but the other doggies were really big and scary. they said mean things to me. they said i wasn't a precious princess. they said I was a dumb boston with a funny ear. pretty soon i didn't know how to get back home so i got scared. some two legged doggies came by in one of those funny looking cans that never have food in them but two legged doggies can sit in them and go places so they don't have to walk. sometimes my mommi takes me for a ride in her can.

the can stopped and a two legged doggie got out and picked me up. i didn't know who they were but they said i was cute and put me in their can. i thought they were taking me to my mommi and paco. then they took my collar off. i started to get scared because my mommi only takes my collar off when i have to take a bath so i thought they were going to make me take a bath but i didn't see a bathtub in the can. i don't like to take baths. then they took off my favorite tshirt. they threw them out of the can. i started to get scared and scareder. then i saw a bunch of really big doggies with black spots on them that were eating grass. they must have had bad tummies because i eat grass when I got a bad tummie.

the can went really, really fast. i was shaking a bunch. the two legged doggies put a rope around my neck and pulled it really tight. it was hard to breathe. then the can stopped going fast. the two legged doggie girl got out of the can and tied the other end of the rope to a big stick that was stuck in the dirt. she pulled me out of the can and threw me down a hill into a ditch. she wasn't very nice to me. maybe mommi didn't tell her i was a precious princess. but i don't think they knew my mommi because they wouldn't have been mean to me if they did. i saw the two legged doggie get into the can and the can left me there. i was in the ditch for a long time. i was afraid to come out because i was scared. then i thought i would go to the top of the ditch and see if my mommi was coming for me. i climbed up and only saw cans going by really fast on the seement yards that cans go on. they scared me. my mommi never lets me be by cans, not even when they don't move on the seement yards. she says i could get hurt so i didn't walk on the seement yards.

i was crying and calling for my mommi but she never came. i don't think she could hear me. another big can stopped and some two legged doggies got out. i got scareder and tried to hide in the grass. the boy two legged doggie picked me up. he said i was cute. the girl two legged doggie held me while the boy two legged doggie used something to cut the rope off of me. then the two legged doggies put me in their can. the girl two legged doggie held me and said nice things. the girl two legged doggie put a blankie on me. it wasn't as pretty as my pink blankie but it was warm so i snuggled in it. the two legged doggies said that the other two legged doggies that left me there were mean people. they asked me if i was losted. i looked at the girl two legged doggie and kissed her for being nice to me.

then the can stopped. the nice girl two legged doggie carried me out of the can and into her big cage. she had lots of other doggies who looked just like me. the mommi doggie kissed me and cleaned me. the daddi doggie asked me where my mommi was. i told them what happened to me. daddi doggie said that his two legged doggie would find my mommi so i could go home. then his two legged doggie mommi gave me something she called cooked chicken to eat. my mommi only gives me dry food balls because my tummie hurts sometimes. but I was so hungry that I ate all of the chicken. the mommi doggie and the daddi doggie have two boy doggies. they were nice to me to. the cute boy doggie gave me some of his chicken. then the two legged mommi doggie put me in bed with her. i slept in her arms. she said i was sweet because i make funny noises with my nose when i sleep. i told her my mommi and paco make bigger noises when they sleep but i don't think she understood me. i think that if two legged doggies would walk on their four legs they could understand us four legged doggies better.

then the boy two legged doggie held something funny to his ear and talked into it. he put the funny thing down and told me that my mommi was going to come to get me because she was happy I was safe. i think he was playing a game with me because I couldn't hear anything but him, but i pretended to believe him because it made him happy. my mommi did come but it took forever and ever for my mommi to get me. she said that the funny thing she puts on her leg said it was only an hour but i don't think those things are in real doggie time. so my mommi is always in the wrong time. silly mommi.

i thought she was mad at me for going out of the yard but she just hugged and kissed me and cried. i kissed her back and the two legged girl doggie that found me cried to. the mommi and daddi doggie told me to be a good girl and to not go out of my own yard again. i told them i wouldn't. the cute boy doggie said to come back and play with him again. i guess his brother thought i was cute to because he told the cute boy doggie that he wanted me to come and play with him. they started fighting about me. their two legged doggie mommi told them to stop. when my mommi took me to her can i looked over her shoulder and blew a kissie to the cute boy doggie. i heard him tell his brother that i liked him best. his brother started yelling at him and they started fighting over me again. it was nice to know that they knew i am a precious princess.

my mommi was crying and kissing me and holding me in the can. she took me to the doggie store to get me a new collar. she got me a pink one with hearts on it. she told me i am still her precious princess even if it didn't say it on the collar. mommi took me home and told paco that i was home. he came up to me and smelled me. he asked me who the boy doggie was. i told him he was my new boyfriend. i was so happy to be home that I kissed paco. paco told me i made mommi cry. i felt really really sad because mommi was sad. paco said i better not go out of the yard again or else he'd be mad at me. brudders think they know everything. i went to my mommi's bed and stayed there for two days!! i was so tired and still scared from what happened. mommi tried to have me go pottie outside but i didn't want to go because i was scared those mean two legged doggies would get me. mommi said she knew and that when i wanted to go out again i could. she put more of those pad things down so i could pottie on them.

my mommi is nice. she didn't yell at me for leaving the yard. mommi went out into the yard and showed me how she put some rope things around the gray things so i can't open the door and go out. she kissed me and said i'm a trickie little trixie. finally i played tag with Paco and now i'm happy again. i went out to the yard but came right back in. now mommi stands and watches me when i go outside. paco tells me to stay in the yard. i'm gonna ask mommi to get me one of those funny things she holds on her ear and talks into so she can hear me better if i need her.
