Community church offers free car wash

Calvary Community Baptist Church, 11980 Irma Drive, Northglenn, hosted a free car wash for the community July 19.

Mollay Jallah, church member and car wash coordinator, said the free car wash was meant to show their love and appreciation of the community. He said donations were out of the question.

Senior Pastor Mark Dutton said the church's goal is to be more community oriented.

"We're here to serve our community," Dutton said. "We want to be a blessing to the people in our community."

He said about 40 church volunteers ran the car wash.
