Holday storm of 12-06
Contributed by: Leonard Avery on 12/22/2006

After 6 days of promises, we finally got our snow. Lt. Linda, my wife, said for me to never again wish for snow. I don't know what she was unhappy about, she got a vacation from work and didn't have to shovel snow. PFC Trent and I and little brother Glenn shoveled forfive hours Thursday and finally found all the cars and some of the sidewalks. We cheered when the City of Northglenn snow plow kept their promises and came, not once but twice down our short residentual street.

Why can't there be a law that all big snow storms have only light snow. Not the heavy full of water, packed like bricks stuff we got yesterday. It is a good thing that this winter is going to be a dry one (per the same weatherman that said we were going to get snow six days ago) If this is an example of our dry winter, we are in deep (snow) trouble.
