I had an opportunity to take photographs at Colorado Cue Club (CCC) in Northglenn recently.

The sport of billiards, or pool, is popular in Colorado. Of the several hundred facilities available to pool enthusiasts in our state, CCC is one of the biggest. Chris McDaniel, is the in-house pro and manager of the facility. We worked together to set up most of the shots.

From the photographers perspective there can be few more colorful subjects than a set of nine-balls on a green table top. To an unusual degree one can control composition and placement of the balls. Creative juices start to flow.

Here are a few of the images we captured.
