The My Little Pony palace
Contributed by: Kimberly Jongejan on 1/11/2007

"Momma, you be Rainbow Dash. I'll be Pinkie Pie..." That's pretty much how play time at our house begins. And when I say house, I really mean the My Little Pony Palace.

I have three daughters. Forget the dolls - my girls eat and breathe ponies. Every time we drive anywhere near a place where horses can be seen grazing, my daughters systematically by age yell out, "I'm the white one!", "I'm the black one!" "I'm the brown one!" When an advertisment on TV has a horse on it, my daughters will curl in their arms and prance along. All year we count down the days until the stock show comes to town so that we can go visit "all of their cousins, " referring, of course, to the show horses. So, I'm the proud momma of three ponies of various shapes, sizes and colors.

Back at the Palace, we have My Little Ponies here, there and everywhere. Our collection has exceeded the two carriers and now requires a large plastic bin. Each girl has their favorites, and they seem to have assigned favorites to me as well. But, inevitably, each time we go shopping we find one we don't have, and the chores money is spent. Some women have elaborate shoe collections. Some have clothes. Others have jewelry. We have Ponies.

So, for the sake of my own little fillies, we'd love to "go visit the family." It would make this mare pretty happy.
