Here is my story. I (Irma Hanson) would love to win Rockies tickets, but more than anything. I feel that my husband and father in-law deserve it more. So I am writing this in their behalf.
My husband (Vachel) and father in-law (Ted) have enjoyed baseball most of their life. My father in-law had helped start Little league baseball in the south Jeffco area in the summer of 1962. My father in-law took out a loan to buy uniforms and supplies for the boys. Ted had always enjoyed baseball and having two sons was even more enjoyable. He then taught them to play the sport and was even their coach. Ted coached baseball for 41 years and his son Vachel my husband has been coaching for 16 years and is still coaching. We now have a daughter and she loves playing baseball. I love watching them in the front yard. It is so adorable watching a father and daughter play ball.
We all have all enjoyed the Rockies even when they first started out. Now that my father in -law is in his late seventies, I would love for him to enjoy a gift that he so well deserves, along with my husband. It would be a great joy to have his family together watching their greatest pass time (baseball). So in closing I'm doing this for them.
Thank You
Irma Hanson
