There is a saying, "We all come from somewhere." Travel by car or by air, has become a hallmark of the American lifestyle. In the times of modern technology, family is just a phone call, e-mail, a short plane flight a drive away. I claim to be from the Midwest, Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa, and transplanted to Colorado after graduating.
I've traveled extensively in this full of wonder land from sea-to-shining-sea, enjoying those freedoms imparted unto me upon my legitimate American birthright. I have owned personal and real property. I have incorporated businesses. I have traveled in Coastal waters. I enjoy the facilities of public buildings, parks and libraries. I am a product of those Puritan values of public education, and excelled in Excellence. I watch sun rise morning after morning, over-the-land-of-the-free and home-of-the-brave.
All immigrants are subject to federal immigration law which serves as the nation's gate keeper: who enters, for how long, who may stay, and who can leave. Beginning in 1986, Congress passed new legislation setting up requirements aimed at controlling the entry of illegal immigrants. Immigrants are entitled to many of the same rights as those enjoyed by U.S. citizens. But to enter the country illegally is a crime punishable by deportation.
DUE PROCESS
An individual, if charged with a crime, must have fair legal hearings in a court of law. To live illegal, is to live with what could be correlated with the Original sin. Only Naturalization, can take away your past and bring forth new and second-chance Citizenship.
