Northglenn Council members need to wake up and realize that,
"We the people of Northglenn" have the right to speak out without being intimated or threatened. The first part of the United States Constitution should start out like this in Northglenn: "Northglenn Council shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
I as a Northglenn resident will not stop exercising my freedom of speech, even after being intimidated by some Council members and their bullies. Right now Council is not even doing their job for the city, which they were elected to do. But to intimidate me by putting on the agenda within weeks of each other organizations and Boards that I'm involved in. First it was CPAAAN (Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association Northglenn) that was brought on by council member
Gene Wieneke, who kept calling CPAAAN, Cspam. Council member Wieneke has no clue on what CPAAAN is but decided to put it on the agenda out of spite. He even added that the I.R.S. should check out CPAAAN! That statement was nothing new coming from Wieneke. If the I.R.S. does get involved, it will be another disappointment for Wieneke when the outcome comes back just like when
Mayor Novak was investigated.
On April 24th the Citizens' affairs Board was put on the agenda for that Council meeting.
Bob McCoy brought up the Citizens' Affairs Board at the Council meeting on April 10th, and mentioned it was a waste of time and why a board member can't be on that board. Well, since I have never seen Mr. McCoy present at the meetings, how can he say "waste of time"? But friends will say and do what their friends want them to say and do.
When Council members took the oath of duties of office, and signed and filed with the city clerk that they will support the Constitution of the State of Colorado, the Charter, and the ordinances of the City and will faithfully perform the duties of the office, I do not see where it says anywhere that it's a council member's job to be an investigator to find information to get a city employee fired, (since the first time didn't work) and to investigate any Northglenn residents because of their freedom of speech, or to accuse and treat other Council members like they're better than the other council member.
