Citizen involvement in the land-use planning process is a political, as well as a moral imperative and testifies to a widespread conviction that all affected citizens be consulted in major land-use decisions.
Citizen involvement at each stage of deliberation in determining goals and targets, the review and approval of plans. The provision for public forums and hearings, public notices, and clear appeal procedures. Measures such as these are essential to ensure both community and that the administration these controls is regarded as open, equitable and incorruptible by all parties.
The pattern of development is enlarging its scope and capabilities, and we should be able to adapt ourselves to an ever shifting array of problems, opportunities, and public concerns.

I met at the Open House in April at the Adams City High School with Director Noel, informing the public of the Northglenn TOD Task Force that the citizens recommended that the proposed sight is inefficient (truth); they would be better served (fair) by connections with 128th Station / 100th Station, and at less cost (beneficial) to all concerned. Director Noel assured me that the Board would look at ALL FACTORS including the Northglenn Citizen Task Force's Recommendation to come to a final conclusion as to the Final Station layout. I enjoyed speaking with Jim Starling, Engineering Project Manager - North Metro line and Kristi Estes of the FasTracks Public Information / Involvement Team - 303.299.6921.
