Locals named to RMAC All-Academic team

Three area residents were named to the 2007 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country team on Dec. 5.

Thornton's Lisa Thomas and Northglenn's Lisa Smith were named to the second team, while Northglenn's Laura Leathers made the honor roll.

Thomas has a 3.85 GPA in exercise and sport science at Western State in Gunnison, while Smith has a 3.93 GPA in communications at Regis University in Denver.

Leathers, agraduate student, has a 3.87 GPA in social science.
