Boating permits available for Standley Lake
Contributed by: Celeste Flores on 1/11/2008

Boating permits for Standley Lake are available from the City, through an intergovernmental agreement with the city of Westminster.

The Standley Lake boating permits sell out quickly and the agreement only allows for an extremely limited number to be made available to Northglenn residents on a first come, first served basis.

Applications for the permits can be picked up at Northglenn City Hall, 11701 Community Center Drive, Northglenn, CO 80233, beginning January 7, 2008.

This year residents will submit completed applications to the Standley Lake Regional Park Visitor Center, located at 100th Avenue and Simms Avenue.

Next year, residents will have to go to Standley Lake to pick up the applications as well.

Celeste Flores is the public communications manager for the City of Northglenn.
