Northglenn Judo's Maes wins national championship

TINLEY PARK, Ill. -- Eleven Colorado Athletes won medals and four more were official placers (top 5) in the USA Judo Middle School and High School National Championship on March 25.

Approximately 300 athletes from all over the country competed in the event, which is the premier scholastic event for Judo in the United States. Based on first place finishes, Colorado finished fourth overall behind Florida, California, and New York.
