Colorado Gymnastics Champions Named

Colorado's top gymnasts twisted, tumbled and vaulted their way on to the awards podiums at recent state competitions in Colorado Springs and Northglenn. The Air Force Academy Cadet Gymnasium in
the Colorado Springs was the sight of Level 8, 9 and 10 championship meets March 29 & 30. Level 7gymnasts competed April 5 and 6 at Gymnastics Unlimited in Northglenn.

All in all, over 300 gymnasts ranging in age fromnine to eighteen strived for their highest scores of the year on four individual events and the all around in hopes of placing in the top tier of the state's athletes. For some, a personal best was the goal. For others, the desire was a medal or an invitation to compete in regional competition.

Individual and team awards were earned by gymnasts and clubs for the various levels and age groups. All results are available online at www.gucolorado.com.
