Contributed by: DR. SEAN REIF D.C. on 5/6/2008

Motivation is a great constant and never ending effort to the attainment of a goal. But your efforts can often lead to burnout if started off too strongly. You may experience soreness, but don't give up. Proper use of machines and health habits can achieve fitness goals and may lead to personal trainer.

Eat fewer calories and burn more fat is the best way to change your body composition. Regular exercise and strength training for all major muscle groups is key to longer life. If you do the same exercise at the same pace and intensity each day, try shaking up your routine, with and extended or different cross-training exercise.

It can be fun to vary your routine by continually searching for alternatives you enjoy. It is best to build fitness gradually and lose 1- 2 pounds per week.
