Do Good Samaritan Teens Exist?

Don't believe it when someone says that high school kids don't care about anyone but themselves.

Because of the crappy plowing job our homeowner's sssociation has done in our neighborhood, I got our minivan stuck in a snow drift at the entrance to our cul-de-sac. Yes, I know I shouldn't have gone anywhere, but Austin had a dental appointment.

I drove and Sam pushed, but eventually we were forced to give up. The van was in a snow drift. A few minutes later, a boy came to our door to ask if he and his buddies could help us. My husband and I couldn't believe our good fortune when we looked out at the 3 teens by our van.

After 20 minutes of pushing our van in circles, digging the snow out from under the thing and finally getting the van out, I could have hugged each of them as my husband drove the van into the garage. Instead, I pressed some cash into the hand of one of them, who didn't really want to take it.

I don't know their names. I only know that 2 of them are State Wresting Champs at Ponderosa.

These boys--no young men--need to know how much we appreciate them! I can only hope my boys learn from your example!

So, THANK YOU whoever you are!

Go PHS and go PHS wrestling! Thanks for recognising teens doing good things. We like when people do that.

Great story Stephanie.

What great young men.
