Son of a bicycle!

.... There really was something wrong with my bike lock yesterday. Alex had to give it a proper whack so that one of the rubbery edges of the horseshoe-shaped bit of the lock wasn't in the way of the locking mechanism.

The key was coming out fine, so long as that rubbery part wasn't in the way. That bit couldn't get in the way, so long as I wasn't trying to lock up my bike.

Still, I didn't know that when she and I wheeled home, so my bike spent a lovely night up on our balcony-- giving me an opportunity, dear readers, to show off pictures of said balcony.

William, I think the names of your new bikes are pretty clever. Thanks for the compliments on my apartment and my bike, Stephanie. I'm very very lucky.

Great title...I love your bike. I want it. Your apartment looks great!

Tabitha, I just bought my wife and myself new bikes. Old-school, single-speed, Fat Tire-looking bikes with chrome fenders and white-walls. Need help with names, though. I'm thinking New and Belgium.
