Persistence Secures 10th Win for Lions

(1/20/07) Despite 23 turnovers and 17 missed free throws, the Lions survived an ugly contest against league opponent Resurrection Christian winning 45-32. Lutheran's defense was again the key to victory, forcing 32 turnovers and holding Resurrection to 28% shooting from the floor for the game. Kolt O'Kelly lead the team in scoring with 12 followed by Brandon Johnson's 10. The win improved Lutheran's league record to 3-2 and 10-2 overall.

The JV Lions were again victorious, winning a close game 36-30, remaining unbeaten on the season at 10-0. Sophomore JV Captain Nick Milberger led the Lions with 22 points.
