The following is a crass attempt to persuade anyone interested in a "first in a lifetime" trip to Africa to join my wife and me and several other adventurers on an incredible tour to Namibia and Botswana in 2008.

If you object to this blatant advertising, please stop reading now. And, oh, don't you dare look at the photographs!

Jan and I have escorted small group tours to Southern Africa since 1996. Our favorite destination is the Okavango Delta of Botswana. This time we have planned a three week tour which will begin in Namibia and eventually take us to the remote Moremi Wildlife Reserve.

I lived in southern Africa for 25 years and am a biologist and photographer. My enthusiam for Africa, its people, wildlife, and wide open spaces continues unabated.
