Three pieces of art have been selected from exhibitors at the 6th Annual Art in the Park show held in Parker's O'Brien Park on August 25 & 26, and are available for purchase by the highest bidder in a silent auction.
The art will be on display in the window of Parker Station Professional Office Building until December 10th, after which winning bidders will be presented with their art at a reception to be held for the occasion.

No. 1 - A two-piece (diptych) panoramic photograph, on canvas, titled "Land's End Panorama. This work, by
Joe McDaniel was taken at Cabo San Lucas at sunset and each part measures 36in. by 16in. Minimum bid is $500. Thisimage received the "Sponsors Choice" award at Art in the Park.
No. 2 - A 22in. by 30in. watercolor titled "It's Raining Color" by
Paul Valdez. Minimum bid is $890. Paul describes this work as "incorporating all the different techniques of painting in watercolor. The colors are vibrant and exciting yet they work well together." For more information about the artist go to

Fritz Anders 32in. by 40in. piece, "A Hare Raising Experience" represents the art of wood burning and shows an eagle swooping on a hare, using the characteristics of the wood to form the patterns of the subject matter. Minimum bid for this work is $2,000. For more information about the artist go to
