Average Joe. Not.
I was born, therefore I blog. I have a sense of the ridiculous and need an outlet for that. I can be serious too and love to write little stories about little known but important people and events. And I love wildlife and travel and will always try to share those experiences. I make things up (its called fiction) and am amused when readers are duped into believing they are true.

Parker's Mainstreet Center was a busy place on Wednesday, March 26.
Barb Wilson
,
Sandy Walden
and
Chris Giroux
were registering artists' submissions for the new exhibit "Wild Things," scheduled to open on April 2. The show is the next in a series of exhibits sponsored throughout the year by, and organized by, members of Parker Artists Guild.
This exhibit will be judged by
Ann Daley
, Curator of the Denver Art Museum. Art in virtually every medium will be on display and open to the public from April 2 to May 27, 2008. No admission is charged.
At the same time
Tadashi Hayakawa
was organizing art from Pioneer Elementary School students for an exhibit of their work which will be open for the same period. These talented kids are benefiting from the skill and dedication of art teacher
Elizabeth Flynn.
As artists know, organizing an art exhibit can be a tedious and time-consuming task. Hanging and labeling art takes an experienced eye to show it to best advantage. The best reward is often knowing that members of the public can walk through the galleries and enjoy the wonderful artistic talents of our local community and student artists.
