On Nov. 17, some of my friends and I all tried out for this big tap club called the Hoofers Club. It is really great because once a month it is taught by none other than world reknown tapper Robert Reed.

Thankfully, everyone made it. We had a 3-hour rehearsal that Sunday from 10-1 which was really long and gave me blisters, but it was TOTALLY worth it. We started a combination that was a ton of fun and got to get to know Mr.Reed a little bit better.

The friday night we tried out, there was a tap jamm at the Parker movie theatre. Most of my tap class and a few other people all dressed up in black and white to go freestyle tap at the movie theater to promote the film Happy Feet.

They had this little black stage set up and we would each take our turn going up there and freestyling. People were crowding around us and throwing money at one of the best young tappers ever: Dario. He is amazing!

We then decided to go to Wal-Mart and play around a little bit.When we got bored there, we went back to the movie theater. We really wanted popcorn and had ran out of money at an earlier stop to Chipotle.

So a movie theatre worker said if we tapped for him he would give us money for popcorn. It was well worth it. The movie was also great and the tap sounds rocked. It was a great weekend!
