I have been looking forward to this movie opening for quite some time. I was newly single and in my 40s when I got addicted to this show and was amazed at how well that TV show seemed to parallel my dating life as far as the amount of odd experiences you can have in our small town of Parker compared to The Big Apple.
This movie did not disappoint! Now that I am happily married and settled back in my home town, it was nice to see some of the ladies settling in too.
While the TV series barely had 25 minutes to develop a plot and finish it up, the over 2 hour movie was able to develop the characters and the plot that those of us that are S&TC freaks were very satisfied with.
I first went with my 22-year-old daughter and her friends who really hadn't watched the series, so I was able to be the "cool" Mom and explain some history to them, and then I went again with my age group of friends and both age groups loved how the movie unfolded.
I give it a rating of 5 HEARTS out of 5.

I agree, for S&TC fans it was a lot of fun. My mom, who's in her 80's and never watched the show, went to see it and enjoyed it, too! Welcome to the blog-o-sphere!!
