Blog Entry 187 of 270 Average Joe. Not.
I was born, therefore I blog. I have a sense of the ridiculous and need an outlet for that. I can be serious too and love to write little stories about little known but important people and events. And I love wildlife and travel and will always try to share those experiences. I make things up (its called fiction) and am amused when readers are duped into believing they are true.

New blogger book is bio-degradable
Contributed by: Joe McDaniel   on 9/3/2007

The literary world was thrown into chaos today after it was confirmed that the rumored new book, "A Blogger's Home Companion," has actually been published despite prior denials by the alleged author.

The alleged author of the hithertofore alleged new manusript had previously vociferously denied the existance of the book. Contacted at his retreat in the rolling hills of Hidden River, Parker, the alleged author now admits his denials were not entirely truthful.

When asked specifically why he vociferously denied the rumors, Mr. McDaniel responded, "It depends on what the meaning of is is."

Questioned further, Mr. McDaniel said he would like to publically apologize to his three readers. "It was for their own protection," he insisted. "I did not want to get their hopes up and not be able to live up to their expectations."

"I also apologize to those who wanted to appear on the book's cover and I completely understand their disappointment," he added, wiping a tear from his eye.

The new 80 page book is a veritable cornucopia of blogs, compiled over a two year period from stories and blogs posted to YourHub.com, that venerable web-based community news site.

The first printing has been somewhat limited; nowhere near the initial print runs of the recent 7th Harry Potter book. However, the author is hopeful that reader demand will exceed expectations.

"A Blogger's Home Companion" is available in both hard ($34.95) and soft ($24.95) cover. It can be ordered on-line at www.blurb.com. Simply go to the Bookstore tab and type in the title or the authors pen name "maxfocus." A 15 page preview can be seen on-line.

The author wishes to caution readers that his publication should not be read while driving or operating heavy machinery. It can be used for the temporary relief of boredom.

It contains a powerful beta-blogger used to treat symptons of general malaise or of the vapors. It may be safely read on an empty stomach and there are no known adverse side effects.

If the reader experiences trouble breathing, unexplained weight gain, increased thirst or persistant dizziness they should contact their health care professional immediately.

"A Blogger's Home Companion" is bio-degradable and can be easily disposed of by burning. It is made of durable materials and can be used as a wedge to hold doors open or to level uneven furniture.

No rain forests have been damaged in the publication of this book.
