Blog Entry 41 of 48 Entrepreneur Vs. Mommyworld
Who Am I? Well, why have I erased what I started five times already? I guess because I am still searching for who I am. Yes, I am a mother of three wonderful, beautiful, loving, never have gotten in trouble in their lives kind of boys. (At least not within the last few minutes...right, they are at school.) Who else am I? I am also a NEW ENTREPRENEUR. Within the last year, I have started three new business. Yippee! Each business is very different and separate from the other, but they are all interesting in their own right. Let's look at the facts and see where I fit the best. To start this blog, I had to cut myself out from the middle of the three little toe heads. Just this morning, I made an appointment to have my taxes done (payment = a kidney). When dropping the boys off at school, I got cut off by a rude driver and I flipped him off in the school line (personal note, never do that, his child is probably in your child's class), I made a wholesale order for business goods without having to ask for help (o.k. only three calls, but who's counting??), I washed a load of jeans and only one chapstick was found in the dryer this time (who in the world knows how to get out that stain?), successfully found some business receipts and only one had a picture of Yoda on the back, and most importantly remembered to say this morning, "I love my life!" I mean, being who I am is just great....now to go figure out who that is....

Saving three lives...
Contributed by: Sara Crowe   on 10/10/2008

Today I donated blood. This isn't the first time.....the very first time I gave blood was on the 2nd anniversary of my mother's passing. That day, I was on my way into the store to buy some flowers to put at my mom's grave site. Right in front of me there was a big sign that said, "Donate blood today."

It really felt like that sign was up there just for me...it was my turn. My mother had to have multiple blood transfusions when she was in the hospital. Each and every drop gave her additional time to be with us. So, that day in honor of my mother, I donated blood.
Today, I was able to give blood again. As I was going through the paperwork, one of the staff from Bonfils told me that giving blood one time could save the lives of three people. Really, what I does can make that much difference?? In addition, he told me that I was young to be giving blood.....young?? (I'm never too old to enjoy a compliment.) So, in addition to helping save some lives, I felt like my younger self.

May the blood I donate give someone else additional time.

Give blood, it's easy, completely free, and, absolutely, ONE person can make a difference!

It's also good for the donor -- it's good for your heart because it gets rid of some of the excess iron Americans get because of their diets.
