Lazy summer days are coming to an end as the new school year is starting again soon. Today Iwent out and reluctantly bought all new school supplies which reminded me even more of the upcoming registration dat on the third. Although school is coming up, summer isn't quite over yet.
Over the summer, I did a ton of fun things. For one, I had my birthday party. I went to Hard Rock Cafe on the 16th Street Mall where we ate giant sundaes. We then did a fun scavenger hunt sort of thing only it was fun. haha. After that, we all went lazer taggin at lazer quest which was a ton of fun. Once we got back to my place, We went swimming, ate cake and opened presents. Then came sleep atfour in the morning and it was muchneeded. In the morning, everyone left but i hadna great time.
Also, I attended many dance classes over the summer. Summer dance is a great time because there are smaller classes and its easy to work on pointe and flexibility. Overall, it was well worth the many classes.
As far as vacations go, I went to Kansas City with my dad and his girlfriend to visit her family. We went over the fourth of july and did many fun things on the lake her parents live on in cludin swim and pontooning. It was a lot of fun and i enjoyed the lake a lot.
Summer is not over yeat so i decided to squeeze two more vacations into the remaining 8 days of summer. From the fourth till the 8th Ii will be visiting Texas to see my gradparents with my sister. I can't wait because we are going to sea world andI havent seen my grandparents in a really long time. After that,
I am leaving for New York City with my best friend
Lauren Wood
and my dad on the 9th. We are going to see a
Yankees
game and
Wicked
the musical on Broadway. I am so excited because New York is my favorite place ever andI will be going with one of my best friends. It should be a blast.
After my vacation, it's back to school for me. I bummed out and excited about it all at once. I am sad because lazy days of sleeping in and swimming are all going to be over. Also, homework and crazy schedules will be happening once again when school starts. However, I will get to see all of my friends and won't be bored out of my mindall the time now. Overall, school is starting again and there is nothing i can do about it.

You had a scavenger hunt for your birthday? That is so awesome. I'm jealous. I can remember buying back to school supplies. Sometimes I dreaded it-- particularly getting stuff for math and science classes. Always fun to buy something new to write in, though. Good luck with school.
