Blog Entry 1 of 4 Prime Issues Affecting Parker Parents
Content focus of this blog is anything that affects parents raising children in the Parker area. As I have two teens, I will be writing about things like what to do on Friday nights, various experiences at 20 Mile theatre, and good places to buy EVERYTHING. But, I want this blog to serve all parents with kids of all ages, so, please, Parker parents, feel free to share your stories and perspectives!! :)

Want a Movie Goer Experience? Try Bonaroo Tatoo
Contributed by: Denise Regan   on 7/24/2007

The next time you or your kids want to get their ears pierced or if you are thinking about getting a tatoo, try the folks at Bonaroo. It is definitely like walking into a movie scene where everyone who has a tatoo or a piercing acts like a bad butt rebel with a score to settle with the "establishment".

My daughter and I tried to redeem a gift certificate from their "parlor" that was my gift to her for her 15th birthday. I had to get specific permission from the gal piercer at the time of purchase of the gift certificate. She said it was ok, as long as I was there when it was done since my daughterwas only 15.

Well, redeeming the certificate was a different story.Without stating the disgusting language used during the escalating scene, my daughter and I felt threatened and unsafe and left the "parlor" shaking and calling police.

Just like walking into a bad "B"movie.....
I would think twice before risking going into Bonaroo, with people who can turn that volatile so quickly over a customer service issue.
