Blog Entry 107 of 217 Robin's Just Saying...
Yeah, it's true, I'm a Parker resident. Is there a support group? NO?! Then this blog will have to do. I've lived here just long enough to raise my kids to a point very close to independence, but I realize that in some resident's books, I'm a newbie. Seen changes? Me too. Love/Hate relationship with growth? I'm so there. Long ago in a place far, far away (Pre-Big Box Parker--P.B.B.P.) I escaped the smog of the big city and moved here. Over time I lost touch with many friends who considered a trip to Parker as exciting-and long--as an excursion to Kansas. (Your moving where?) These days, we're a charming little burg, close-in to the big city. We've got Parker Days, Carriage Parades, and that logo with the lights from mainstreet (guess we can't change those now, right?). Yes, it's a wonderful place to live, but it doesn't feel like Kansas anymore, does it Toto? My musings will cover this topic, naturally--this wacky town can practically write a gal's column for her! But I have a habit of digressing...so I may talk about kids, politics, movies, food, my dogs, or the latest version of the Main St. Round-A-Bout (It's like living in a carnival!!). Check in now and then to see what's up. And let me know what you think!! I LOVE feedback...but be nice. I may be opinionated, but my mother taught me good manners.

Bigfoot on Mars!!
Contributed by: Robin Nolet   on 1/25/2008

Like so many others, I was stunned to see the recent photos from Mars.

Well ... not so recent, they were actually taken in 2004, but those guys at NASA apparently really like to take their time vetting new information. And why wouldn't they be, when that information clearly proves that Bigfoot is living on Mars.

That's right, Bigfoot. I recognized him instantly, didn't you? Hasn't everyone seen the still from the 1967 film footage taken by Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin in a Northern California forest? In my wildest dreams I never would have thought that Bigfoot was a Martian-he doesn't look anything like Ray Walston (you kids go google that while we wait...).

Of course, it is amazing that he was caught on Martian-cam in almost the identical mid-stride position as Patterson and Gimlin found him. I know what you're thinking, and you're probably right. Clearly, he has a very distinctive stride.

The folks at NASA, being non-commital government types, are taking the, "it's a rock" position. Sure it is, after all, there are tons of rocks on Mars. Just like all those "weather balloons" in Area 52.

Naturally, there's been some speculation regarding the similarity between the Bigfoot photo taken decades ago, and the recent Martian siting. In this click-and-paste society, some irresponsible sorts, i.e. Bloggers, may have implied shenanigans in the NASA editing room.

Obviously, this is insane speculation. The folks who brought us Moon-golf would never perpetrate such a hoax, and in fact, I feel it may not be long before we see proof of Bigfoot's higher intelligence. Here's a hint: "Frisbee"golf.
