Blog Entry 13 of 33 Entrepreneur Vs. Mommyworld
Who Am I? Well, why have I erased what I started five times already? I guess because I am still searching for who I am. Yes, I am a mother of three wonderful, beautiful, loving, never have gotten in trouble in their lives kind of boys. (At least not within the last few minutes...right, they are at school.) Who else am I? I am also a NEW ENTREPRENEUR. Within the last year, I have started three new business. Yippee! Each business is very different and separate from the other, but they are all interesting in their own right. Let's look at the facts and see where I fit the best. To start this blog, I had to cut myself out from the middle of the three little toe heads. Just this morning, I made an appointment to have my taxes done (payment = a kidney). When dropping the boys off at school, I got cut off by a rude driver and I flipped him off in the school line (personal note, never do that, his child is probably in your child's class), I made a wholesale order for business goods without having to ask for help (o.k. only three calls, but who's counting??), I washed a load of jeans and only one chapstick was found in the dryer this time (who in the world knows how to get out that stain?), successfully found some business receipts and only one had a picture of Yoda on the back, and most importantly remembered to say this morning, "I love my life!" I mean, being who I am is just great....now to go figure out who that is....

Middle of the night
Contributed by: Sara Crowe   on 4/17/2008

It's 2:00 a.m....officially the middle of the night for most people, and I am sitting at the computer. I'm wondering why it is that I am sitting here and wondering too...who else must be up?

Are you up for the same reason as me?

I could say that I am up because I love this time of night...I DO love it! The phone isn't ringing, the world is quiet, lights are dim, and nobody is talking...

Is that your reason?

I could be up because I haven't been feeling that good, but actually that wouldn't make any sense at all since I like to sleep when I'm sick.

Fever anyone?

Actually, and this might sound SO strange....I am up because I absolutely love the work (actual J.O.B.) that I am doing right now. I'm not sure I've ever been able to say that. I'm craving the knowledge to be brighter and more efficient, I desire forward moving conversations, and I can't wait to see what the next business day will bring.

It's like a vicious cycle...I am having trouble going to bed tonight because work was so interesting today...but I want to get up to be able to do more tomorrow?

So, time for bed...so I can rise!

May your daytime be filled with challenges that are delightful and your nights littered with inspiration.

Glad to see you back. I used to do the late night stuff-what a wonderful time to write, an island of isolation and inspiration....but I need my sleep more these days! Yawn....
