Entrepreneur Vs. Mommyworld
Who Am I? Well, why have I erased what I started five times already? I guess because I am still searching for who I am. Yes, I am a mother of three wonderful, beautiful, loving, never have gotten in trouble in their lives kind of boys. (At least not within the last few minutes...right, they are at school.) Who else am I? I am also a NEW ENTREPRENEUR. Within the last year, I have started three new business. Yippee! Each business is very different and separate from the other, but they are all interesting in their own right. Let's look at the facts and see where I fit the best. To start this blog, I had to cut myself out from the middle of the three little toe heads. Just this morning, I made an appointment to have my taxes done (payment = a kidney). When dropping the boys off at school, I got cut off by a rude driver and I flipped him off in the school line (personal note, never do that, his child is probably in your child's class), I made a wholesale order for business goods without having to ask for help (o.k. only three calls, but who's counting??), I washed a load of jeans and only one chapstick was found in the dryer this time (who in the world knows how to get out that stain?), successfully found some business receipts and only one had a picture of Yoda on the back, and most importantly remembered to say this morning, "I love my life!" I mean, being who I am is just great....now to go figure out who that is....

When we moved to our very first house in Loveland, we were greeted by a young couple who immediately made us feel welcome. They took us under their wings, showed us around town, filled our house with laughter, and easily and quickly became a part of our lives.
As the days progressed, Missy taught me about the love and complete devotion that she had for her husband, how she totally and completely loved her family, and how to cook more than just scrambled eggs.
It was natural friendship. When I had our first son, she was one of the first to greet him to the world. When she had her first son not many months later we did the same. This continued as we each had our other children.
She was there for me when my mom got sick, sent cards just when I needed one, and phoned often and was by my side right after mom died.
Missy is one of those true friends who, even when I don't see her for awhile, I know that it will be "easy" and "comfortable" when we get together.
She's had bad news today. Her older son has been diagnosed with a disease. A rotten, terrible, horrible disease that will......I don't know.....but it is nothing good.
How do I stop crying for her....my friend...
Please pray for my special friend Missy. I know I won't stop.

I don't know who said it, but it's something I like to remember in tough times, "Don't give up before the miracle happens." I'll pray for the miracle. Hang in there.
