Diving Into the Truth
Hey Everyone! Welcome to Diving Into the Truth! This blog is for the sole purpose of glorifying Christ! How awesome is that, huh?! I was inspired to give the blog it's name by a song sung by Steven Curtis Chapman called "Dive". Of course I like the whole song, but I really like the chorus: I'm diving in, I'm going deep in over my head, I want to be Caught in the rush, lost in the flow, in over my head, I want to go The river's deep, the river's wide, the river's water is alive So sink or swim, I'm diving in. And that's what this blog is all about--diving into the ocean of God's love, truth, and holiness. So come and join me, and together, we'll dive right on in!

Well I never thought I would praise God for dirty clothes, but here I am....
If you've read my profile, you know I have quite a few siblings. (nine to be exact...one just hasn't made it into the world yet.)
Anyways, being the oldest, I've taken care of most of my siblings since their birth, and have watched them grow from babies to toddlers and from toddlers to young children. (Not old enough yet to say from children to teens, but it's close! :P)
Although any baby can be cute no matter what stage they're in, I think that they're the cutest during the toddler stage. The "first" stage. The stage where their first teeth are coming in, first words, first steps, first real food, first really dirty diaper! Ha! Little babies dirty diapers are nothing compared to a toddlers! Believe me, I know!
My youngest sibling, Isaiah; 16 months, is in this stage, and us older ones take turns feeding him. So imagine me holding my brother on my hip, feeding him some yogurt, and you know how it is trying to feed a toddler and his face gets all dirty....well you won't believe it, but that's exactly what happens to my brother's face!
And many times someone's playing around behind me or for some reason, he just seems to find something more interesting than the food. And when he turns his head to look behind me, he wipes his dirty mouth all over my sleeved shirt!
Or maybe he'll be walking around with a runny nose, and then finds my leg, wraps his little arms around me, then wipes his nose all over my pants! He certainly doesn't mean to do either of these things, but more often than not, I get frustrated and upset when he does them.
Well, one day while a was inwardly ranting and raving over another messed up shirt, I stopped. And told myself to be thankful instead, because if my little bro weren't here to mess up my shirt or pants, then he wouldn't be here at all!
Praise God for my baby brother, who gets my clothes dirty, which now, makes me thankful! :)
