Parker Library conversations in art

What:	NEXT › ‹ PREVIOUS As part of Douglas County Libraries ongoing program "Conversations in Art" local artist Christine Giroux will present "Art is in the Mind of the Beholder" at the Parker Library on Thursday. October 16, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Chris will discuss what the eye actually sees, what the mind tricks us into seeing, and how to interpret art around us. Chris is a well known and active member of the Parker Artists Guild and has won numerous awards for her work, including 1st Place in the Fine Art Category for her booth at Art in the Park in August. Her painting Rocky Mountain Winter took 1st Place in the Earth, Wind, Fire and Water exhibit currently showing at Parker's Mainstreet Center. Entry to this event is free and no pre-registration is required.
