Description:
The Douglas County Household Chemical Roundup is a great opportunity for ALL DOUGLAS COUNTY RESIDENTS to dispose of household hazardous waste (things like lawn/garden chemicals, cleaning products, paint and paint products, automotive fluids, household rechargeable batteries, vehicle batteries, tires, propane tanks, etc.).
The event will be held at Town of Castle Rock Utilities, 175 Kellogg Court, in Castle Rock on Saturday, September 12 from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The event is open to all Douglas County residents. Make sure to bring your license or a utility bill so we can verify that you live in Douglas County.
Residents interested in coming to the event should load items and waste into their vehicle, making sure that contents are secured and safe for transportation to the event. Participants do not need to get out of their cars at the event, as waste is unloaded for you while you wait.
A $25 dollar contribution is greatly appreciated to help offset the high cost of hazardous waste disposal.
