Parker Chamber Picture Show to Fill the Summer Nights with Stars
Annual Event Features Family-Friendly Movies in Downtown Parker Starting TOMORROW

PARKER, Colo. - June 27, 2008 - The Parker Chamber Picture Show will kickoff its third straight year of summer cinema events tomorrow, Saturday, June 28, in O'Brien Park in downtown Parker. The Parker Chamber Picture Show, a Chamber signature event, has become a favorite summer tradition as Parker families come together to enjoy their favorite Hollywood movies on a giant inflatable movie screen underneath the stars. The series features five family-friendly movies on select Saturday nights throughout the summer, including: June 28, July 12, July 26, August 16 and August 30.

The Parker Chamber Picture Show brings more than 600 people to O'Brien Park, near the intersection of Parker Rd. and Mainstreet, for each night of the series. Crowds fill the park to enjoy the pre-show entertainment, affordable concessions, games and prizes beginning at 7:15 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs, picnic baskets and their leashed four-legged friends to join in on the fun. The featured film begins at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.), and the events are free and open to anyone in the community.
